DENTAL CARE
Keeping your pets teeth clean and healthy will keep your pet happy and healthy. Imagine if you didn't have thumbs and couldn't brush your teeth! At home dental hygiene is a good way to keep your pets teeth healthy.
The fluoride used in your toothpaste, if swallowed, can be harmful to pets so always use veterinary toothpaste on your pets. To start a oral hygiene program for your pet first get them used to the toothbrush with no toothpaste. Brush in a circular motion on the outer surface of all the pets teeth. Even with great home care your pet will still need regular dental check-ups by your veterinarian.
At the CWC we offer:
* Veterinarian Dental Exams
* Instructional Home Dental Care
* Hill's Science Dental Diet T/D - tartar control
* Dental Chews
* Toothbrushes
* Toothpastes
Hill's Science Diet T/D is a uniquely formulated diet that actually cleans the tooth's surface when chewed, acting as a tooth brush to control tartar build-up. Consult with our veterinarian for more details.
