Theo
Hi! My name is Theo and I'm the happiest little kitten you'll ever find! I was living on the Katy Trail until I discovered Highland Park Animal Hospital and all of the nice people that work there. Although I don't have a tail, I'm a sweetie who loves to play and purr all day. I'm now so happy to have a home with Ashley, one of our employees from the Canine Country Club! |

Pammy Prissy Pants
Shortly after I was born, I was living a hard life on the streets by myself. Luckily, I happened upon Highland Park Animal Hospital, so I snuck in. When they found me, they just couldn't resist my cuteness, so they let me stay. I was so little that I had to be bottle-fed and my right eye wasn't working properly, so I got lots of attention at the clinic. Some of the technicians even liked me enough to bring me home some nights so I wouldn't be alone! Now I'm much bigger and stronger and I love to play and snuggle up with my stuffed animals. I finally have my forever home where I get to play with my new sister! Thank you HPAH for finding me a home! |

Rizzo
When I first came to the clinic, I was misunderstood. They thought I was too rambunctious, but really I was a young, wild child just looking for a little bit of love. Now that everyone knows how sweet and playful I am, they want to find me a permanent home where I can roam and play all day long. I am so excited to have finally found my forever home! I even have a big brother to play with! Thank-you HPAH for finding me such a great family! |

Nash
Hi! I'm Nash and even though I'm only four months old, I have been on quite an adventure. I was lonely at my previous home so I decided to explore Dallas in search of a buddy. Unfortunately, while on my adventure, I was hit by a car and broke my leg! The word on the street was that Dr. Vandermeer at Highland Park Animal Hospital could fix any broken bone so I hitchhiked to the clinic. My surgery went great, but I'm still learning how to use my leg again. I'm so grateful for my new owners Robert and Victoria! |
 |
Lenny
Hi! My name is Lenny and I am a basset hound mix with one blue eye. One of the clinic's loyal clients rescued me and brought me to the clinic. Unfortunately, I am heartworm positive and am currently undergoing treatment. I am shy around big dogs, but I love to play with little ones. My favorite things are ear rubs, long walks on the katy trail, and biscuits! Now I have everything I have ever dreamed of in my new forever home! Thank you for finding me such a great family! |

Jimminy
I came in with my brother, Kricket, at just nine weeks old. Although we go together like two peas in a pod, I'm ready to part ways and be with a family of my own! The both of us aren't quite sure what are parents really are. I think our mom is a Jack Russell Terrier mix, and our father is a Chihuahua, however, Kricket disagrees. It doesn't matter anymore though because my new home with Paul and Sarah has proven to make me feel just as welcome as one of their own children! |

Kricket
My brother Jimminy and I were brought in together to Vickery Place Animal Hospital before we were transferred to Highland Park Animal Hospital. We were just nine weeks old! Although we came in together, we tend to beat each other up, must be a "brother thing". We argue about all sorts of things, especially about our parents. Jimminy is convinced mom is a Jack Russell Terrier mix, and dad is a Chihuahua. I believe mom is a Shih Tzu mix and dad is a Labrador Retriever. Either way, turned out to be in my benefit since Mandy from the Canine Country Club thought i was handsome enough to bring me home and invite me in as a new addition to her family! |
 |
Isaac
Thank you Vickery Place Animal Hospital for taking me in and giving me all of the tender love and care I needed before I could go home with my new family. I am so excited to be a part of Paul's family, a client of Highland Park Animal Hospital. Who would have thought a trial "take home" would become permanent so quickly? They love me so much that now I am considered a full time family member! I am so excited about my new family and for all of the wonderful memories we will share together! |
 |
Hermione
Thank you Dr. Vandermeer for taking me in and giving me shelter! I know I was a spoiled rotten resident while I was staying with you. I am so excited to go live with Sue, a client of Highland Park, and I can't wait to play with my new brothers and sister! |
 |
Margie
Melissa, a client of the Highland Park Animal Hospital, rescued me and brought me here. It didn't take very long for me to be adopted, because I'm pretty cute and Dr. Dixon agreed, since she decided to invite me into her home! |

Baxter
Baxter has been through the ringer, traveling the hard streets of Dallas, when he was finally rescued and brought to us. He now has a wonderful new home with John and Patricia, who fell in love with him and adopted him in early December 2009. |
 |
Farley
Farley came to us with a badly injured rear leg. He had been hit by a car and was in desperate need of medical attention. Unfortunately, the leg could not be saved, but he is doing quite well on three! Farley has a great personality in spite of his bad luck! He is extremely friendly and just an all around good boy. We are so excited to announce his new owner, one of our own technicians, Rachel. |
 |
Einstein
"Pick me! Pick me!" says Einstein. He was brought in by one of our faithful clients, having only a few cuts and scrapes. He is a charming and intelligent fellow with a big heart. Einstein was adopted into a loving forever home in November of 2009. |

Biscuit
Hello! My name is Biscuit! I am a 7 year old, beautiful silver seal point Persian and I am already spayed and declawed. I found my forever home with Kat, one of the veterinary technicians that works at the clinic. I love to cuddle and I enjoy being brushed by my new mom! |

Taco
On May 26, 2006, a 3 year old male, brown and white Chihuahua mix was brought to HPAH by the SPCA. Taco had a broken pelvis, a dislocated knee and a slight case of heartworms. The doctors at HPAH performed surgery to fix the pelvis and the knee. Taco will soon be undergoing treatment for the heartworms. Taco was adopted on June 20, 2006 into a loving home with Marcy of Dallas, TX. |
 |
Reba
On May 15, 2006, a 12-16 week old female, black Labrador Retriever was surrendered to the Emergency Animal Clinic. Reba was brought in for severe hair loss and diagnosed with Demodex mange. This type of mange is not contagious to others, but requires treatment to clear it up. The owner surrendered her due to financial reasons. Reba has been adopted into a loving home with one of our former staff members, Courtney. She now has 2 sisters: a poodle (Lucy) and a cat (Coco). |
 |
Pepe
On December 26, 2005, a 13-week-old male Pit bull puppy was brought in to HPAH from the SPCA with a broken right rear leg. His leg was already in a splint and appeared to be healing well. The doctors of HPAH elected to monitor his leg rather than surgically treat it and it eventually healed on its own. Pepe was adopted on August 20, 2006 into a loving home with Arney of Garland, TX. |
 |
Ima
On July 28, 2005, the SPCA discovered a 1 year old female cat that had been caught up in the engine of a car after taking a little "cat nap". Due to the severe injuries sustained by the incident, this little nap cost Ima her left rear leg and her tail. The doctors of HPAH amputated both shortly after her arrival. She has since made a full recovery and been spayed and fully vaccinated. Ima now resides in a very loving, musical home with Scott and Ann and their other cat J.J. of Dallas. |
 |
Captain (Cappy)
On March 4, 2005, Captain was brought to Highland Park Animal Hospital. His left front foot had been crushed. He was found by the SPCA abandoned, hungry and limping. The doctors of HPAH re-set the bones in his foot and placed a splint. After a little time and with a lot of tender loving care, Cappy made a full recovery. He now resides with Mike, where he is still trying to get Socks and Mr. Peabody (2 cats) to play with him. |
 |
Biscuit Ben
On September 20, 2007, a 5-week-old, male Domestic Short-Haired Tabby was left at the Emergency Animal Clinic. Dr. Morse brought him here to help him find a new home. He had an injured rear leg, but made a full recovery. One of Highland Park's clients, Charla, fell in love with him and adopted him. Now he gets to play with his new siblings Diego and Bandit! |
 |
Aiden (Radar)
On September 4, 2007, the SPCA brought this 4-month-old Australian cattle dog to us because of a broken elbow (that may require amputation). He is a very sweet dog, who has not been neutered yet, and is full of energy. Aiden is a loving boy that is great with other dogs and people. He found a loving home in October 2007. |
