Dr. Wendy Dearixon
Dr. Wendy Dearixon is a native of Houston and graduate of Klein High School. She received her undergraduate education in Biochemistry at Texas A & M University and her Veterinary degree in 1990 from the Texas A & M College of Veterinary Medicine. Upon graduation, Dr. Dearixon returned to Houston to practice small animal medicine for a year before moving to Dallas and purchasing the Animal Clinic of Richardson. She joined her husband, Dr. John Vandermeer, at Highland Park Animal Hospital in 2002 and in 2006 built and now operates Vickery Place Animal Hospital. Her professional interests include ultrasonography, soft tissue surgery and opthamology.

She and Dr. Vandermeer live in University Park with their 3 children Emily, Marshall and Hannah. Dr. Dearixon is an avid horse enthusiast and serves on the Board of Directors for Equest therapeutic riding center. They have two dogs and two cats - Rosie, Pedro, Ed and Harley.

Dr. Wesley Sperry
Dr. Wesley Sperry is a native of Texarkana, Arkansas. He received his undergraduate education at Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri and his DVM from Louisiana State University in 2005. Upon graduation, Dr. Sperry practiced small animal medicine in Clarksville, TN for several years before moving to Dallas. His professional interests include feline and canine internal medicine. One of his major professional goals is to practice quality medicine in a godly environment.

Dr. Sperry and his wife Carol live in Dallas. They just welcomed their first child, a son, to the family that also includes their two dachshunds Samwyse and Syren.
