OUR STAFF Jana Hipp Jana Hipp has been with Vickery Place Animal Hospital since July of 2010. She was born and raised in Dallas, currently resides in Lakewood, and earned her Bachelor's Degree at the University of North Texas in Psychology, Sociology and Forensic Criminalistics. She has quite the house full with four dogs, Daisy, Skittles, Mushka and Sabina, and a cat, Bruiser. In her spare time she enjoys boxing, oragami, scrapbooking, photography, and spending time with her daughter, Peyton. Mallory Treviño Mallory Treviño came to us from New Mexico in June of 2011 after graduating with a BS in Animal Science from New Mexico State University. She is starting out here as a receptionist, and would like to train to be a veterinary technician with hopes of someday attending veterinary school. Mallory currently lives in Dallas, and spends her spare time cheering on the Dallas Cowboys, reading, running, painting, and spending time with friends and family. Alexis Norton Alexis Norton joined us as a volunteer in the early summer of 2011, and is now a full-time veterinary technician. After growing up in the West Texas town of San Angelo, she pursued a BFA in graphic design at the Savannah College of Art and Design, and an MBA in marketing from Rollins College, but recently decided to make her passion for the care of animals her lifelong career choice. She lives in North Dallas with her two beagles, Bella and Bowden, and plans to attend veterinary school in the future. She enjoys visiting art galleries and museums, cooking, and yoga. Virginia Yerena Virginia Yerena has been with Vickery Place for three years as a Certified Veterinary Assistant. Originally a corrections officer, her love of animals brought her to the veterinary field. She lives in Plano with her three sons, Brandon, Nathan and Joshua, along with two chihuahuas, Sofie and Isabell.Bree Tarkington Bree Tarkington joined our team in the summer of 2011. Bree has lived in Dallas all of her life, and has worked with animals since she was fourteen years old. She has two cats of her own, Mowgli and Domino, and in her free time she enjoys reading, painting, and photography.Mike Gonzales Mike Gonzales has been with Vickery Place since 2010 as a kennel technician. His favorite aspect of his job is how fulfilling it is to help animals. Every day he wakes up with a smile, knowing that what he does makes a difference. He is looking forward to attending college for Criminal Justice in the near future. |
